It's Tuesday and time to tantalize. A personally chosen image and 200 words only to work with. These awesome authors come up with some amazingly inspired teasers. So sit down and enjoy the reading. Oh, and please show some love with a comment.
Teasers
This week my teaser is called Comfort Enjoy.

Phoebe lay face down, naked and outstretched on her bed, with her head buried deeply into a pillow. Finally having achieved slumber, she fell quiet.

The night, had a full moon that radiated on a dark, crystal studded backdrop. Cool moonbeams silently fell onto Phoebe. They glanced the soft alabaster flesh of her well proportioned curves.

Phoebe's long ebony hair, with a sheen highlighted by the moon, fell over her tear-stained cheeks. Such were the tell-tale signs of how Phoebe had cried earlier; her heart broken.

Whispering zephyrs drifted through the open window and shadows floated around.
The night seemed peaceful. Nevertheless, disturbed dreams caused Phoebe to awaken.

She moved position in the bed; her arm reaching out to the side where Carl had once lain. Her hand trailed along the sheet, with fingers mentally outlining his form. Her eyes welled up with tears once more remembering that he was gone.

Phoebe let out huge gut-wrenching sobs as she sat up in bed, clutching a pillow to her stomach. She remembered sadly when Carl, in so much pain, watched the moon with her before closing his eyes for one final time. Phoebe looked to the moon once more for comfort.

  1. Oh my God, Naomi.....that was just beautiful. This must be the best piece of yours I have ever read. The descriptions are elequent and moving, the emotions raw and stirring, the pain palpable. You have certainly been working your craft in your absence from us. So very, very glad you are back. Stunning. :) xo

  6. A gorgeous piece which opens so lyrically and with such sensuousness, only to take such an unexpectedly tragic turn. Involving and moving.
