When she visits the Art Museum, Cibele is

impressed by a particular work of art depicting hell. Her horror of the painting grows when Amy introduces her to astronomy, and she associates the fearful black hole as an entrance to hell. Lost and confused about her life, she meets ambitious Agatha from Texas, who is in New York to succeed as a fashion model, and they become inseparable.

While trying to survive and achieve their goals, the three friends question the meaning of life, death, and the existence of hell, and their friendship ultimately turns into a maze of betrayal, jealousy, and selfishness.

Embark on a spiraling journey through Rio de Janeiro, Texas, and New York to discover the ambitions of three young women looking for the meaning of life. Through a series of events that prompt them to play with each others' destiny, they will face their ultimate challenge: is hell real?

Outside, the sun beat down from a cloudless sky with a fierce heat. Tina stood and looked up, shielding her eyes with her hand. Tall, dressed in short shorts and open white shirt, she had long, tanned legs, beneath her shirt the promise of  a large bust and shoulder length wavy auburn hair. Tina felt tired and hot sticky, and her hair stuck to her head with the heat of the sun together with the effort of shifting all manner of boxes as she moved in.

Whew,” she said, downing a few glugs of water from the bottle. Trickles of perspiration trickled down inside her shirt. Replacing the lid she held the bottle against her forehead and ran it down one cheek to try and achieve a little coolness from the ice cold bottle. Looking up she became aware of someone's eyes watching her.

Sexy Snippets ~ 17 April 2016: A Cup of Sugar

Sexy Snippets

Susie wandered into her kitchen and, deciding against coffee, searched out a bottle of white wine from the fridge. She poured herself a larger than usual glass, using up the remainder from it. Hmm, she thought. More wine needed, I'll put it on my shopping list.

Voices could be heard outside and Susie walked over to the front window, glass in hand to see what was going on. Standing just to the side, hoping not to be seen, she looked out and realized the commotion came from next door where there was a lot of activity going on.

A large blue removal van had pulled up outside and two stocky men with short curly hair were yelling istructions to each other, and moving furniture into the house.

Flash Fiction Friday ~ 15 April 2016: Marjorie

It's Friday again and time for a flash. A Friday Flash. A group of awesome writers have a given picture and write a 100 word piece of flash fiction inspired by the picture. Please follow the
Flash Fiction Friday  link to read and enjoy their work. All comments gratefully received.

She knew he was watching.

Marjorie adjusted to the semi darkness in the room. The only light came from a skylight. She crouched on her knees with arms behind her and wrists bound together with a rope and painfully pulled up high. Her new white shirt strained, pulling across her chest to the point of two buttons flying off into the air and spinning to a halt on the floor.

She tried to sit back, but her ass, confined in a tight skirt, rested uncomfortably on her stiletto heels. Marjorie slowly lifted her eyes and glanced up, whispering her apology.

Thursday Tasters ~ 14 April 2016: The Inheritance

It's that time of the week again.Time for some Thursday tasters, excerpts from a group of amazing authors' excellent work. So follow the links to all, read and enjoy. A comment is always appreciated too.  This week my taster comes from a WIP The Inheritance. Derek, has escaped a family meal after  texting a friend.

Thursday Tasters

Outside the restaurant Derek leaned on the cold wall and took out his phone again. A beep sounded signifying a return text, and he opened it with a smile.

"Meet me at Malibu club in 40 minutes. The text was short and sweet. He knew the Malibu , in Carson Street on the far side of town but had never visited. A twinge in his groin awoke some feelings that he tried to keep hidden from day to day. Now, he felt happy in releasing the feelings and looked forward to seeing Tony again.

Tony attended the same gym as him, and they had met quite by chance, after a mix up over booking times for a squash court. The two became instant buddies. After going out for a few drinks one night Tony seemed to be the only one Derek could talk to and share inner most feelings. However he couldn't understand why he was feeling all jittery as he pulled his car into the car park of the Malibu, parking it on the far end of the car park out of sight.

Walking into the bar he sensed something different about this particular place. The lights were dimmed, booths with plush velvet furnishings and there were purple swag  velvet curtains at the windows.

There seemed to be a good ambiance,  with happy people sitting in the drinking and chatting, some even kissing. Derek felt completely relaxed among them.

Behind the bar a huge African man with close cropped hair served drinks. He appeared topless apart from a bondage harness tied around his torso. It sent a strange shiver down Derek, who, as he looked around him, suddenly realized that he was surrounded by men. There were no women!

Ah there you are!” called Tony.

Derek could just about see him through the crowd, and make out his attire in the low lighting. He wore dark jeans and a blue cotton shirt unbuttoned almost to his navel. His dark, curly, chest hair was on show. The soft strands he remembered stroking last time they had met. Then he watched as a young blonde blue eyed man sidled up behind Tony.

Sorry mate, I'm taken," Tony said to the man, who slapped his ass, and tried to steer him away. Then he turned his full attention to Derek who had managed to grab a couple of free bar stools.

What's that all about?” asked Derek, as he perched himself on one bar stool and turned to get drinks.

Oh, just an old friend,” Tony reassured him. “I'm yours tonight. And these drinks are on me.”

Midweek Tease ~ 13 April 2016: The Inheritance

Happy Wednesday to one and all!  It's time for the Mid Week Tease! Where an  amazing group of writers gather to tease you with an excerpt from a completed work or WIP. Please follow the links and show some love by reading and commenting on the writer's awesome work. It means so much to them.

This week my excerpt comes from a WIP

Frank eased down from the train on to the platform and looked all around him. There were quite a few people milling around, and he didn’t see anyone at first that he knew. Suddenly he heard a shriek.

FRANK!”

The sound of his name rang in Frank's ears as someone charged toward him.

As they neared, Frank recognized a short, dark haired woman of about nineteen, who was Ruth, his younger sister. He stopped, and dropped his bags on the platform, holding his arms out to her, laughing.
She launched at him, however and flung her arms around his body, almost knocking him flying.

Hello Squirt,” Frank laughed as he swung her around. “Still a titch I see.”

And you’re a beanpole,” she retorted. “And a pale one at that!”

Missed me?”

Like a hole in the head! Of course I have, you daft thing.”

Frank looked down at the wedding band on Ruth's third finger. He frowned, realizing she had gone through with the marriage despite his reservations. He remembered receiving a short letter from Ruth, explaining that after her pregnant, Ruth's boyfriend Derek had promised to make things legal and marry Ruth.

Frank didn't trust him, however, and knew this would be the end to all of his sister's plans for the future. He had taken an instant dislike to Derek, the first time he set eyes on him. There was something he reckoned he was keeping from Ruth and therefore someone not to be trusted.

Thursday Tasters ~ 7 April 2016: A Weekend Away

I'm back after a break with the Thursday Tasters. A group of excellent authors who each Thursday post a short taster from a completed work or WIP. This week I have another clip from my WIP A Weekend Away.

Back at Linda's after a Friday night out, the two women decide to finish off the night with a brandy nightcap.

 “Well, hello, sexy lady.”

Judy giggled as she heard Linda's voice behind her and felt a tap on her shoulder. stopped, turning swiftly to see her pouring generous amounts of brandy into two beautiful cut glass glasses.

I was enjoying watching you,” Linda said, putting the bottle on a side table and handing Judy a glass. “I'll keep the bottle here, just in case,.” she winked. She went over to the window and closed the curtains. Then turned, saying, “There. It's just you and me now. Forget the World and what they might think.” She caught hold of Judy and slipped an arm around her waist. “Come on, let's sit by what's left of the fire and relax with our drinks.”

She guided Judy over to the front of a failing fire, where both women attempted to sit down gracefully. In their semi drunken state however, they ended up falling over each other and landed in an ungainly heap. Some of Linda's drink spilled onto Judy, and dribbled down, leaving a trail over one of her breasts until it disappeared inside her dress.

Ooh, that tickles, and it's making my dress damp. I'd better take it off,” Judy exclaimed. “I'm a bit more than tiddly, can you help me hon?”

Music to my ears, thougght Linda. Then replied, “Sure .” She quickly unzipped the back of Judy's dress down to her waist, then told her to lie back and lift her hips so that she could complete the operation.

That done, Linda helped her wriggle out of the dress, and laid it over the sofa, promising to get it cleaned next day. She grabbed a throw from one of the chairs and wrapped it around Judy. “There, are you comfortable now, babe, or do you need anything else? I've just got to get this skirt off. It's so tight, I'm feeling restricted.” She teased it over her hips and shook the skirt down until she could kick it off. Then she slipped her top off and wrapped another throw around herself. The both took large gulps of the brandy and burst into rippling giggles.

Judy smiled, then shivered again. “It's no good, I'm wet through to my bra with that damn rain from earlier. I'm going to have to take it off, sorry. I hope you don't mind, hon, but I seem to be undressing down here tonight.”

Mind? Why should I mind? I just want you to be relaxed and comfortable.”

Drinks forgotten, knocking the throw to the floor, and with her hands at Judy's back, Linda's deft fingers snapped the clasp of her bra open, and with soft fingertips that gently stroked Judy's arms, eased the straps down and the cups away from Judy's pert breasts. As she slowly drew her hands back up, her fingers came into contact with the soft flesh and instantly she worried what her friend would think.

Judy, however, relaxed into her, and even purred a little, so Linda continued. She nuzzled inyo the crook of her neck and shoulder, gently moving Judy's hair out of the way as she administered the softest of butterfly kisses to the side of her neck.

Mm, beautiful.” Judy trembled as she felt herself being gently lain down. “No-one's ever been this gentle with me before.”

You're the one who's beautiful. And I will always be gentle.”

Experience The Magical Beanstalk For 99c

 Jack and the Magical Beanstalk
by
author Pablo Michaels
(Yellow Silk Dreams)
"This piece really reflects Pablo Michaels’ creativity. His string of word choices is clever and wraps the scene in vivid visuals. The imagery is sublime. Who is the old man, the stranger, and what does he have to do with Jack and his mother? Pablo has cleverly added poignant character depth by infusing some of Jack's genesis, his family, parents and farm life, even expanded upon it to describe the hardship which was the reason the cow was traded in the first place. We have a strumming and artful gold harp—delightful—a young man running into forest. When they run into the thicket, do they meet all the other naked men? Are they slaves of the Giant? The panic and fright caused by the Giant was wonderfully underscored in his careful descriptions. I love these, 'rumbles of thunder', 'like a fox on a hunt', 'where daylight became dimmer'. Also his use of the 'thump, crunch' and the cackling hen really added an element of tension and heart pounding pursuit that was so tangible. This was a cleverly layered piece that I think was a bang on perfect tie-in for the original fairytale story. Pablo adds depth to their situation and tragedy, multiple layers of tension and understanding. I loved the fairytale as a child. I love this story as an adult; just love it. It is a well-crafted, beautifully developed, very sensuous taste of adventurous youth that just kept getting better. To the hilt: delicious, decadent and delectable."
~ Muffy Wilson
