Jack and the Magical Beanstalk
by

Pablo Michaels transforms Jack and the Beanstalk into a new adult fairy tale:
Jack and the Magical Beanstalk

Blurb:
In this adult fairy tale young, awkward, young Jack sells their prize cow Pearly White for magical beans to a strange man in a red bikini. Little does Jack’s mother, Lorene, know that the beans grow into a giant, magical beanstalk, high above the clouds?

Jack ascends the beanstalk to a land where a Giant Slave serves his larger Master, Jack begs Slave for food to satisfy his hunger from his long journey. But Jack finds Master hoarding treasures.

Attempting to escape the wrath of Master and Slave with the treasures, Jack encounters a handsome, engaging normal sized human man. Sam lives with others that live naturally without clothing deep in the forest. As Jack ages he becomes a handsome man, just like his father, attracting many men, including the two farmhands, Zeke and Adam.

Even though Jack has enabled the farm to prosper with the treasures he stole from Master and is met with increasing danger, he climbs the magical beanstalk again and again to find more treasures and pursue Sam.

Excerpt:
There was plenty of food to eat, and the farm prospered. Lorene started looking younger and more attractive. Jack was no longer thin and weak. His body was admired by girls, boys his age, and men, especially Zeke and Adam. He developed muscles to fill out his large frame, looking more like his father every day.
One day while working with Zeke, when Adam was at market, Jack paused and scrutinized Zeke, who worked with his shirt off. Zeke noticed Jack’s interest from the corner of his eye. He wiped the sweat from his brow with his right hand and slid his left hand from his neck to his ribcage, down to his bellybutton. Then his fingers traced over his belt buckle to the swelling bulge in his trousers. Closely observing Jack’s reaction, Zeke grinned. He turned toward Jack, who was wiping his brow and unbuttoning his shirt. Zeke started walking through the field toward Jack. They both stared at each other, feeling something carnal. As Zeke approached, Jack started toward Zeke until they were close enough to kiss. Zeke leaned in and kissed Jack. Slowly removing their remaining clothes, they settled on a comfortable spot under a large, old elm tree. Lying down next to Zeke, Jack explored the farmhand’s hairy chest, which was very much like his father’s had been. Jack had only a few sprouts on his nipples and a line running from his ribcage to his navel. While his mouth sucked on Zeke’s nipples, one of Jack’s hands cupped Zeke’s hard dick delicately. The young man was inhibited and proceeded cautiously, as this was his first time with a man. Zeke, lying motionless but aroused, allowed Jack to explore his body. Zeke finally took command, rolling Jack on his back. Expressing his sexual attraction for the younger man, Zeke kissed the crown of Jack’s penis, opening his mouth and swallowing his cock to his balls. After a slight hesitation, he slid his lips firmly up and down Jack’s shaft, slowly at first, then gradually moving faster and faster, until Jack lifted his pelvis and groaned in satisfaction.
After staying in that position momentarily, Zeke stood up. ”You can have mine tonight when your mom and Adam fall asleep. We’ll continue this, more comfortably, in your bed. I’ll come to your bedroom around midnight.” They both dressed and went back to work, toiling aggressively to prove their strength and endurance before each other.
Jack was ecstatic while they thinned the sprouts of corn, anxiously anticipating more action after his first sexual moment with a man; one who still aroused him, indicated by the his erection bulging beneath his trousers.
At midnight, Zeke entered the room, naked, and slipped quietly into bed with Jack. They fondled and kissed for a long time, until Zeke whispered in his ear, “What would you like to try tonight? I can tell by your dick you’re hungry to be satisfied. Do you want me to suck it again? Or do you want to try mine?”
“I want to do you so bad, but I’d love for you to suck me until I’m dry. Is there any way we could do it together?” Jack panted and squirmed, feeling Zeke’s skin touching his own.
“Yes. It’s called sixty-nine. Let me show you how it is done, or have you already imagined what to do?”
Jack nodded his understanding of how to proceed.
“Show me how you’d like to do it then.”
Jack rolled Zeke onto his back. While sitting up, Jack tossed the sheet and blanket over the foot of the bed. “Scoot your body down.”
Zeke followed his instructions. “Let your fantasies go wild.”
Reversing his position, Jack perched his knees above Zeke’s head and lowered his crotch to Zeke’s open mouth. When Zeke’s lips locked onto the young man’s dick, Jack bent his head down to the farmhand’s erect cock. His mouth descended on Zeke’s large penis to his balls, sending a rippling roll of chills throughout Jack’s body. He raised his head and repeated the movement. Zeke responded, pulling Jack’s crotch to his mouth and then pushing it up, just enough for the tip of his penis to remain in his mouth. He adjusted his movements to accommodate Jack’s awkward jerks until they were in unison, ultimately satisfying each other with simultaneous blowjobs.
Jack collapsed on top of Zeke and then rolled onto his side.
Zeke maneuvered his body until his head lay beside Jack’s. “Hey, stud, that’s some fantasy. You were a bit sloppy at first, but after a while you kept up with our rhythm. I couldn’t have taught you better myself.”
“I still crave more of you.” Jack’s confession was made clear by the erection he still maintained in the dim light.
“No problem. I can take care of that.” Zeke understood the hormones raging in the young man’s body. He rolled Jack onto his back to suck his dick a second time. But when Jack came close to orgasm, Zeke ceased sucking, loosening his lips until Jack’s cock stopped throbbing and he gradually stopped panting so strenuously. Then Zeke continued, practicing this procedure several times until Jack’s hands grabbed Zeke’s head, forcing it down to his groin, finally climaxing a second time.
After they lie recuperating and their breathing returned to normal, they talked until nearly dawn, and then Zeke slipped out of Jack’s bedroom.

Author Pablo Michaels does it again!
By Ray Sostre on January 8, 2016
This was a story that was not only outside-the-box, but a very good story that was never dull and filled with absolute fun. Author Pablo Michaels came across with
another worthy read. Although, the story is short and meant to be that way,
but the book is definitely worth getting. You’ll love the flow of the story
from start to finish, and it has a neat fairytale ending to the story

A Sensual Adaptation of Adventurous Youth: Delicious, Decadent and Delectable
By PA Jiuditta on January 5, 2016
This piece really reflects Pablo Michaels’ creativity. His string of word choices is clever and wraps the scene in vivid visuals. The imagery is sublime. Who is the old man, the stranger, and what does he have to do with Jack and his mother? Pablo has cleverly added poignant character depth by infusing some of Jack's genesis, his family, parents and farm life, even expanded upon it to describe the hardship which was the reason the cow was traded in the first place.
We have a strumming and artful gold harp—delightful—a young man running into forest. When they run into the thicket, do they meet all the other naked men? Are they slaves of the Giant? The panic and fright caused by the Giant was wonderfully underscored in his careful descriptions. I love these, 'rumbles of thunder', 'like a fox on a hunt', 'where daylight became dimmer'. Also his use of the 'thump, crunch' and the cackling hen really added an element of tension and heart pounding pursuit that was so tangible.
This was a cleverly layered piece that I think was a bang on perfect tie-in for the original fairytale story. Pablo adds depth to their situation and tragedy, multiple layers of tension and understanding. I love the fairytale as a child. I love this story as an adult; just love it. It is a well-crafted, beautifully developed, very sensuous taste of adventurous youth that just kept getting better. To the hilt: delicious, decadent and delectable.

A New Spin On A Timeless Classic!
By Imagine The Possibilities on January 1, 2016
I was given a complimentary copy of this book by the author. This review is my honest opinion and was not asked of me.
Jack and the Magical Beanstalk (Yellow Silk Dreams) by author Pablo Michaels is a testament, of sorts, to the story Jack and The Beanstalk... but from a Gay perspective. This story does follow the premise from the fairy tale in its simplicity but from a very different perspective than its original form. There is definitely some new material here than what most of America knows of the original story, the tale we have all heard so many times. Well, now you can hear it again! This time you will meet several new characters. You will feel the emotion of the young man "jack", as he discovers other young men.
I loved it! I have never read a book from the LGBT genre, but I may read more. This story is highly entertaining to say the least. Pablo Michaels has spun a fantastic "gay" web around Jack. Did Jack know he was gay? I don't think he did, but the story leads him along and helps him discover himself. Not only does he find himself, but he finds true love.
What a wonderful depiction! Bravo Pablo Michaels, Bravo! I would recommend this title to anyone 18+

Not the same old Jack…Old and new collide to bring a fresh face to this old classic
By Robin on December 20, 2015
Mr. Michael’s brought life and a new pop to this old classic. He gave us insight into the dynamics of being raised by a single parent. He molded the old and new into a beautiful piece of imagery with depth making it easy to relate to the hardships and lessons that are learned along the way. Mr. Michael’s adapted Jack making him easily fit into the 21st century while keeping the old charm that made this story a classic.
Mr. Michael’s subtly slipped in analogies which gave the story a bit of humor only adding to the delightfully well written layering of the original fairytale. He brought a sensuous quality to Jack that gave him more dimension and depth.
Pablo Michael’s has created a magical journey into the world of fairytales. I look forward to more.

Guest Post ~ 28 January 2015: Pablo Michaels

Today I am lucky enough to have my dear friend Pablo Michaels come round to visit. It's been a while since he last visited and always a pleasure to see him. You will recognize him better as the very talented author who also writes in several flash fiction groups. He can be followed on his website blog

He usually writes M/M and his latest book falls into the Paranormal category. It has not long been released but I have a feeling it will be a howling success(pardon the pun).

 Blood Sweat and Black Leather.

Amazing cover!

Here's the buy link

Blurb:

Damien Lieberman has moved back to his parent’s house after they were killed in an automobile accident. A rare typhoon is poised to strike the San Francisco Bay Area on All Hallow’s Eve. Damien wants to return to the city to rekindle his relationship with David Wilder after breaking their vow of monogamy, but Damien has lost his job. After continuous rejections from David, Damien seeks love with a new man, futilely, while gay men are dying from a new disease, AIDS.
While Damien observes the approaching storm from the terrace of the house, dwelling on his past failures and current woes, a man, from Damien’s past, balances magically on the railing of the fence and jumps to the deck next to Damien. He recognizes this stranger as a man he pursued, while David was building a new relationship with another man. It was Gabriel. Overwhelmed with his youthful beauty and strength for a man equal in age to himself, Damien fails to notice – Gabriel Tivoli’s paranormal powers. Damien has not only lost his youthful physical appearance but he has lost optimism and his "Peter Pan" personality, something Gabriel loved when they first met.
Gabriel promises to restore Damien’s youth, beauty and love eternally, if he promises to love him in return. When Gabriel asks Damien to meet him in the nearby cemetery at midnight on Halloween, Damien sees Gabriel as his new chance at love. But will the aging gay man attempt to restore his relationship with David? Or will he have faith in Gabriel Tivoli? Will he discover the meaning of the living dead? Will he abuse his paranormal powers and be sentenced to death by the elders?

Excerpt:

A gust of wind slapped Damien awake from his wandering thoughts. Jolted from his memory, he became abruptly aware of a tall, dark, masculine figure strolling on the top railing of the garden fence, illuminated by a beam of moonlight. Balancing like a dancer, he gracefully walked toward Damien, his face hidden in the shadows. The unknown person crept closer to the deck, leaping from the fence and over the banister to stand next to him. Dressed in a black leather vest and pants, he stood tall and mighty. His face was concealed by a dark mask.
“Who are you?” Damien gasped in fear.
“You don’t recognize me?” he answered, his deep, soft voice enticing. “You lusted for me several years ago. I told you I wanted an older man. I let you go.”
“How did you walk on the fence like that?”
“It’s all a matter of balance.”
“Why don’t you drop your mask?” Damien’s teeth chattered slightly. “I don’t remember you or your voice.”
A plume of fog surrounded the man momentarily and then dissipated with the wind. Slowly, he removed the mask, revealing a young, pasty white, clean shaven face with bloodshot, piercing, green eyes glowing like emerald gemstones, and long, jet black hair, combed back and shimmering in the fading moonlight. The finely sculpted chest and arms complimented his rippled stomach muscles, all glistening beneath the open vest. It was a man from Damien’s past.
“Is that you, Gabriel?” He couldn’t recall his last name. “How do you appear out of nowhere and do those amazing stunts, like walking on top of the fence?”
“Yes,” he admitted his identity but ignored the last question.
“But why are you here now? You cut me off and disappeared. You told me you wanted an older man.”
Although Damien’s robe was tied shut, he could feel his dick bounce, stiffening at the sight of Gabriel. He clasped his hands together in front of his crotch, attempting to conceal his erection.
“I see you’re still attracted to me. It’s a long story; I will tell you later. Tell me, are you still trying to live the life of Peter Pan?”
Damien tried to better conceal his arousal.
“Please don’t hide your goods. I like the looks of your erection.” The moon shed more light from a passing cloud. Gabriel masked his face again.
Damien untied the belt to his robe, the wind blowing the front open again. His hard-on became more prominent. “I feel old. I can’t get back in shape like I used
to be able to. I want to look younger. I’m losing my hair. Even getting gray hairs on my chest. I don’t understand it. I go to the gym. But look at me. I can’t stand to look at myself in the mirror. I’ve failed with every guy since you rejected me. But there’s something different about you. How did you walk on top of the fence? And you nearly flew from there to the deck. How did you do that?”
“You were in love with someone else. Do you remember the first day we met?” Gabriel spoke louder …

And a little more

Damien Liebermann tossed and turned, alone, in his king-sized bed, the wind howling outside his Spanish-style house. Waking from a fantasy, he sat up. “Useless to sleep. Why do I keep thinking of David? That vision of him with fire. Can’t I forget him?” He had another of his recurring dreams. Glancing at the clock on the nearby wall, the time did not display, even the nightlight did not emit its low glow. “Shit! The power is off.”
Blindly searching for his bathrobe, he sensed the warmth and humidity of that late October night in 1985. Struggling through the maze of hallways and rooms, he meandered to the doors of the balcony. “The typhoon wasn’t supposed to arrive until tomorrow.”
Opening the French doors to the deck, gusts of wind blew open his robe, awakening his naked body with a warm, damp force, tingling his genitals. Sitting on a secured wicker chair, hisrobe open, he stared at the ominous sky overhead. The clouds streaked by too fast to catch a glimpse of the near full moon.
“How’s this damn old house going to weather this huge storm?!” He was weary with the fierce winds blowing as he studied the changing sky above. “Storms like these rarely hit the Bay Area.”
He left the big city life of San Francisco to live on a rural suburban street after inheriting his parent’s house the year before. His parents had been killed in an automobile accident. Troubled by an unresolved relationship with David Wilder, Damien felt abandoned, needing David back in his life. My friends warned me: sure, he’s a stud with blond hair and blue eyes, but he’s too young for you. I thought he was naïve and funny, not stupid and flighty like they said. And how am I supposed to find someone better?
Feelings of guilt resurfaced from Damien’s fatal confession on Valentine’s Day at the Lion Pub back in 1980. It wouldn’t have been so bad if we hadn’t agreed on a monogamous relationship. But shit! It was the gay sexual revolution, and all my other friends were single and having sex with as many men as they could get into bed. Why did I have the need to do that too? It felt good at the time. But when I’d had enough, I had to spill my guts to David. Why did I ever tell him I was unfaithful? I had no idea he’d had sex only with me. I thought he was tricking too. Maybe not as much… but at least once in a while. He didn’t understand. When I told him I’d had sex with more than one guy that was what made him decide to break up with me. That was the doomsday bombshell. He didn’t care that I still loved him and that my promiscuity was over. Why do I still love him? He always made me laugh with his silly jokes. And what a body! I have always loved tall men. That nice hairy chest. And his dick. God, it ranks with some of the biggest I’ve had. Our sex was better than with anyone else. Fuck! Why did I blow it?
But when David left him, Damien realized any reconciliation was highly unlikely for them as lovers. Within a year, David found a new love interest; a man named Stuart. Damien heard through the grapevine, the gossip among their mutual friends was quick to reach him, Stuart and David had bought a house together… a fantasy once shared by Damien and David. But within two years, the new couple’s house was on the market, and David had broken up with Stuart.
Damien hoped this might be his chance to get David back. But the signals and reactions from David indicated that was not going to happen.
Meanwhile, Damien frequented the bars and gay hangouts, searching for a man to replace David. But with so few men out looking for a sexual partner, the heartbroken man settled for one night stands and anonymous sex. He remembered seeing Stuart drunk on many occasions, seeking sex outside his relationship with David. And each time, Damien’s thoughts about renewing his relationship with David resurfaced.
But five years later, regretting his promiscuity, he still didn’t have David back as his lover, and he missed him terribly. Gay men across the country were getting sick and dying with an unknown disease. Some people referred to it as the gay plague, since it was affecting only gay men, primarily only those who were promiscuous like Damien. The acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or AIDS, as it became known, was killing most of Damien’s sexual contacts he’d had during his years with David. While mourning the numerous deaths of those he’d spent time with, he was finding it harder and harder to find anyone willing to have anonymous sex.
The year before his parents died, Damien encountered David one afternoon while shopping on Castro Street. His thin, frail body and gaunt face left an image etched in his memory. They had chatted like they’d seen each other the previous week.
Remembering the conversation, Damien feared he would lose David forever… another victim of AIDS.
“I was hospitalized when I came down with pneumocystis,” David explained, his weakness evident in the strained breaths between the few words he spoke.
Damien knew this gay pneumonia was a killer, unwillingly comprehending the seriousness of David’s health. “Should you be out shopping? I can give you a ride to your house, if you’d like? Are you still living with Stuart on Potrero Hill?”
“No, I have a ride. Stuart and I broke up last year and sold the house. He had a drinking problem. I’m with someone new. Robert, Robert Stokes. He ran up the street to buy some groceries while I pick up a couple of prescriptions at Walgreens. How are you doing? Still living in the city? Are you working in Marin?”
“I’m fine.” Damien lied, wanting to hide the pain he suffered from still loving him. “Yes, I still live here. I live in the Haight. I could never leave the city. You should know that.”
David had detailed how he survived with the help of new drugs. He had just been released from the AIDS ward at San Francisco General Hospital.
Damien called numerous times after that encounter, leaving messages on their answering machine, and sending cards. But he never received any responses. Frustrated, Damien reverted to his old behavior, frequenting the afterhours grope clubs, bathhouses, and dark parks full of men seeking anonymous sexual action, thinking this path would lead him back to David. Alone in bed at night, he attempted to remember and count the number of men he had slept with that month. He could not even remember the names of most the men. Sometimes he would go home with a man he had previously had sex with, hoping a repetitive fling would spark a relationship.
But those hopes dwindled within a week or two. When he moved back into his parent’s house, the sexual encounters gradually stopped. Ultimately, he abstained from sex completely.
Succumbing to his failure to find a partner to replace David, Damien convinced himself his life was near the end.
A ferocious gust of wind slapped Damien’s face, waking him from the past to the storm raging around him. The wind blew his robe open once again, a breath of air brushing against his crotch. His dick became aroused. It rose slightly, as the wind continued to massage him. He remembered a similar storm in 1962, when he was going through puberty. The day was hot prior to the storm’s arrival later that night. He rode his bike to the nearby lake to go swimming. Every time he went where men were in swimming suits, his eyes perused their bodies appreciatively, and he later masturbated to their images in his memory.

Well I hope that's whetted the appetite for readers to rush out and buy. It sounds great!

Guest Interview - 27 September: Pablo Michaels

This week my guest is Pablo Michaels. A very good friend and talented writer. We know him on Facebook as Michael T Jordan He needed coaxing to talk about himself , so treat him gently. I think you will be surprised. He's quite a character.

Enough of the intro, welcome. The stage is yours. Tell us about the writer Pablo

Thank you Naomi. Pablo Michaels is very pleased to be here. Your generosity has given me the chance to promote my story, "A Night at San Gregorio Beach", included in the publication of the book, The "Boys Club". I’m also overwhelmed to present Pablo Michaels as a writer.

Pablo started his life believing in a god and non-violence. At an early age he dismissed conventional religion and believed god was found in every living entity in people, everything on earth and the universe. He is physically and psychiatrically disabled, but he overcomes his obstacles with exercises, love and the need to express himself with the tool of prose. He made the vow to meet a man and love him for the rest of his life, surround himself with friends and improve his skill in writing. He fails sometimes, but rebounds with conviction to improve his life, primarily through the voices that control his written words. He dedicates his life to the process of peace, romance and LGBT erotic love. He currently supplements his income with small gardening projects. He hopes people will understand the lust for life, more than what Ernest Hemingway wrote during his times in the middle twentieth century. He invites you into his den where all his inspiration to write is born.

Besides reading and writing, Pablo has many interests. One of which is the most important, I love my husband and I need to have sex with him as often as we are able. Of course I look and flirt with other men. That's just my true nature. Even though I cook most every day, I enjoy trying new recipes to feed my husband's hungry stomach and guests. I believe God is right here on earth and the universe with everyone and everything. People just have to look for god with enthusiasm and live in moment to appreciate the world around you. I am natural when it comes to being part of nature. I guess I inherited that from my father who was an outdoors man. I love to go to the ocean and be naked walking down the beach and walking through the incoming waves and whitecaps. I'll never give up gardening. Although it was my trade, I still am enthusiastic about caring for all the plants in our gardens. I rise early and watch the stars and moon above when it is not cloudy. October moons are my favorite. I am a simple person and try to live my life as such. I grab existence while I can in the state of now, attempting to not look back or forward.

Starting as a late bloomer in writing. I published a short story in 1986 in an anthology for a literary magazine. I wrote during that decade producing novels, plays short stories and poems. I began a novel in 1990 and stopped writing despite encouragement by a few friends. I did not re-enter the writing scene until 2004 and published short stories with an online literary magazine and scribd.com I became friends with Gina Kincade and Penny Petersson, who published short stories, poems and my first attempt at a novel, Catnip, Rosemary, Rage and Time in The Mistress Journals and Between the Sheets. That book was much of a rough draft, until I rewrote it and self-published it without an editor with Xlibris. Meanwhile, Pablo published “When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again, Hooray in 2010.

He also also published “Pagan Knights of Cambria” in 2010 with Life of Riley Productions.
Without much fanfare and sales, Gina Kincade invited Pablo to join Naughty Nights Press
"A Night at San Gregorio Beach" in the gay anthology "The Boys Club" was published earlier this year. I’m proud to be an author with Naughty Nights Press.

Readers can buy Catnip Rosemary, Rage and Time at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com. Unfortunately, my two other books are no longer published because the publishing company lost their funding.

The Boys Club is available at

The updates on my fiction are available on

Pablo also participates in Tantalizing Tuesday Teasers at  http://tantalizingtuesday.blogspot.com

for a story of exactly two hundred words based on a photograph.

I leave you with an excerpt from A Night at San Gregorio Beach. I originally wrote this fantasy in 2006, but thanks to edits by Penny Peterson it is part of The Boys Club.

Blurb

Barry, tired of meeting transient gay men in bars, restrooms and rest stops, hopes to meet a man for a committing relationship at a nude beach, where he camps out for the night.

Excerpt

I made camp at the furthest end of the beach, where few people congregated, I was free to shed my remaining clothes and spread out my opened sleeping bag to lie in the sun’s warming rays.
As I lay on my back, the sun’s intensity became stronger, covering my face and chest with a sheen of moisture.  This caused me to become aroused. The cool mist of the ocean spray gave some relief to my heated state.
A few men had spread towels to lay in the sun not very far away, their bodies close to mine in age and very toned from the gym.  They scrutinized my body with interest, especially the one with long, jet, black hair who smiled at me.
My groin swelled into an erection, so much so, that I had to turn over and lie on my stomach.  Embarrassed by this state and the heat of the blazing sun beating down, I reached for a bottle of warm water in my backpack, while my skin burned and sweat poured down my sides.
When my two neighbors wandered around a cliff close by, more men with muscular physiques traversed the cliff with the oncoming rush of waves.
Deciding to follow out of curiosity, I saw a small cove ahead with a large cliff descending down the north end that ended this stretch of beach.  I viewed a group of men stroking each other’s dicks; I walked along the sand further until a tunnel in the cliff where the tide had receded tantalized me.
*****************************************
Thank you, Naomi for having me as your tainted guest.

It has been a pleasure, you’re welcome anytime.
