Flash Fiction Friday - 11 May: The Film

Welcome to Friday. Where a group of talented writers get together and give their own take on a picture. However, although a picture is worth a thousand words, on Friday we are only allowed one hundred. No more no less, for our flashers.
I hope you enjoy mine, and then journey to read the other flashers stories by clicking the link.

The Film

“I need this like I need a hole in the head. Is this safety film necessary?" Douglas moaned as he slumped into the chair. “I’m wrecked from last night.”

Leonard sat beside him and explained. “Our Manager, Benson, is hot on correct procedure.  So, what do you mean, wrecked?”
Other disgruntled employees wandered in and sat down to watch.
Douglas yawned and lay his head down on the table, closing his eyes.
The film started, but soon snickers went round the room. Leonard nudged Douglas, pointing.

“Look! That’s not a safety film! It’s you and Mrs Benson. You bad boy!”
