Flash Fiction Friday - 10 January: Taking Work Home

It's Friday again and time for a flasher. A group of awesome writers with a given picture are allowed 100 words only to be inspired to write their version. Please support them by reading and commenting. This week mine is called Taking Work Home Enjoy

“I need to talk to you..” Carly looked at her husband with the same affection as when she had first  seen him three years ago. Rob had rugged looks that could arouse her in an instant. He carried chains today over a taut shirtless body and sported jeans that tightly hugged his slender hips.

“What’s the problem. Can we talk later?  I think a calf that's due to be born needs turning,

“Okay, but later I want to discuss new wallpaper. I’ve heard of taking your work home, bit I feel like I’m living in a cowshed.”

  1. he can bring his work home any time looking like that. LOL. I liked the imagery and the dialogue

  2. I thought you were going to say 'cowshit'!!! This was a great flash, Naomi! I love A man that loves animals and makes me feel like one, as he does!!! :) xo

  3. What a sexy hubby! Imagine him trumping through with chains on. Umph umph umph. Ah, well...great flash, Naomi :-D

  4. oh brilliant, so unexpected. I love this, I have a big grin on my face.

  5. Ah, poor Carly. She definitely needs her husband to make some changes, like take off those pants and extend her some attention. Enough with the cows.

  6. Made me smile! I'd have trouble with cow wallpaper too.

  7. *giggles*

Oh I loved that last line. Priceless :-)

  8. I loved this. Great way of describing and image. :) Can I borrow him for awhile? ;)

I long to know what you think. So please leave me a comment
