A Bad Day
“Greg?” Luke yelled up the stairs. “Come on!”
He heard a thud then nothing.
“GREG!” Luke raced up the stairs. “Your parents are sticklers for punctuality.” He burst into Greg’s bedroom “and … Jesus Greg, what’s up?”
Greg was sitting on a table, naked, clutching his leg. The mixture of pain and anguish on his face was obvious.
“Oh Luke, I really wanted them to meet you. Especially now they accept I’m Gay. We’ll have to rearrange. Can you help me? I climbed up here to reach for something after my shower and slipped. I think I broke my ankle.
Thank you for reading
Nice take on this Naomi.
ReplyDeleteAww, that was good. And I hope it's not broken. Loved it.
ReplyDeleteAw, I loved it. A different interpretation, well done!
ReplyDeleteSLira
Awww...hope he's not too badly injured!
ReplyDeleteNow it's no luck! having his parents meeting his partner and injured himself!! poor guy! Hope he'll recover pretty soon!
ReplyDeletegreat post
Bad luck.....or great timing, depending upon whether he wanted to mee the "out-laws" or not. Well done:) xo
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I think somebody got cold feet at the last minute. I'm not buying the "accident", I think he's faking it. He's still worried about how the parents are going to act. Good job Naomi.
ReplyDeleteI'm of the mind he did it on purpose. I'm on the wagon with Ben. That was my gut reaction.
ReplyDeleteWell done sweets
Poor Greg. Loved this FFF! I think Greg got a bit nervous too.
ReplyDeleteLove how you saw this scenario in this photo. Great FFF.
ReplyDeleteOh no - now he will have a hurt ankle and the anxiety of the first parents meeting...*pouts*
ReplyDeleteOh bummer. I love the feeling in this post.
ReplyDeleteOuch! I guess Greg will have to make it up to Luke after he gets a little TLC and rest. Something tells me his parents won't postpone for a little broken ankle though. Great perspective!
ReplyDeleteGreat flash! The poor man!
