This week my excerpt is seven sentences from a WIP The Inheritance.
Frank is making the long train journey home a totally different person, after his college course finished. During his journey, he meets a strange, very attractive woman called Natasha who he is immediately attracted to.
“It
was because of my ex that my life changed dramatically. Then he left
me.”
Natasha
sat on Frank's lap, pawed at his shirt with sharp fingernails and
brushed his cheek with her red lips. “Now I'm on a mission to get
that man who made me like this. Look Frank, the sun is going down
and I sense you understand me.”
As
the moon became visible a green flash crossed her eyes, and he
nodded. He understood better when the same light floated over his.
